Overall real good stay for good value. Clean facilities, favourable location. Attentive and kind staff, and the best owner ever. The place is short walk to Arugam Bay, train station and centre...

The host was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with great tips and even arranging a scooter for us. The location was excellent, right next to the bus station and main road. The room, although humid, was bearable and the bed was comfortable. The shower had warm water. We enjoyed the complimentary tea and the leaving gift of local tea. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the omelettes. great value for money and we would return to this beautiful location.

I keep coming back to a homestay in Ella because it has everything I need - Wi-Fi, off-site car park, shared kitchen, in-room breakfast, 24-hour reception. The staff even helped with my elderly parents. Perfect for my city break.

We had a great time exploring the lush and green surroundings of this homestay. It felt like stepping into a tranquil oasis, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The views of the river and the city from our balcony were simply breathtaking. It was a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. The tile/marble floors in our twin/double room added a touch of elegance to the space, and we loved the outdoor seating area where we could relax and enjoy the fresh air. the atmosphere here was truly rejuvenating.
Intermittent power.

I recently stayed at a budget accommodation in Ella for 3 nights. The double room with shared bathroom at Silent Night Homestay was clean and the breakfast was good. The price was great and the family who runs the homestay were fantastic. The location was convenient, close to the center of Ella and right next to the bus station. Despite being a basic accommodation, it had everything I needed and provided excellent value for money. I also had a pleasant surprise with a mosquito net above the bed.
Can recommend this hotel.

The homestay offers a comfortable single room with a double bed and hot water. The location along the main road is convenient yet peaceful at night. The hospitality of the host, Fatma and Sunil, is outstanding with unlimited tea, engaging conversations, and even herbal drinks for health. The breakfast servings are generous, and guests are allowed to use a vacant room for freshening up before departure. Highly recommended for those seeking a memorable and welcoming experience.
Felt so relaxed, no complaints at all.
